Baloch Liberation Front Claimed To Have Killed 25 Pakistan Coast Guards Personnel In Gwadar
The government sources also confirmed that at least two Coast Guard personnel are missing and a search operation has been started to find the missing soldiers.
In the early hours of Saturday morning armed men attacked a check post of Pakistan Coast Guards near Balochistan’s port city of Gwadar, killing at least 7 soldiers and injuring seven others. The condition of three of the wounded personnel is said be critical.
The government sources also confirmed that at least two Coast Guard personnel are missing and a search operation has been started to find the missing soldiers.
Meanwhile a Baloch resistance organisation, fighting for Balochistan’s independence, accepted responsibility for the attack and said that at least 25 personnel of Coast guards have been killed and two have been taken into custody by Baloch fighters.
The BLF spokesperson Mr Gwahram Baloch further said that Sarmachars (freedom fighters) also took away 1 vehicle, 1 motorcycle, 3 Kalashnikovs, 3 Machine guns, 1 G3 and large amount of ammunitions.
Mr Baloch told NNI that two Baloch freedom fighters have also been injured in the battle.
He also claimed responsibility of firing three rockets on a base of Military Intelligence on Friday and causing heavy casualty.
The BLF spokesperson vowed that such attack will continue until the complete withdrawal of occupying forces and freedom of Balochistan.
