Protest Statement Against Executions and the Gradual Genocide of the Baloch Nation
=================
Today, we have gathered here to Protest Against Executions and the slow motion Genocide of the Baloch Nation and raise our voices:
We will not stay silent in the face of crime!
We will not kneel before the gallows!
We will stand firm against the systematic elimination of the Baloch people!
The Islamic Republic of Iran — a regime that portrays itself as a defender of the oppressed in Palestine, Lebanon and Yemen— is carrying out a gradual genocide of Baloch, Kurd, Arabs and others in Iran.
Through executions, enforced disappearances and poverty, the demolition of homes, denial of official identity, suspicious killings on the roads, and labeling Baloch youth as “smugglers” and “criminals,” the regime relentlessly pursues a policy of physical eradication in particular the Baloch people.
The statistics scream the truth:
Between April 7th and April 25th, 2025 alone, 25 Baloch individuals have been executed.
Throughout 2024, the Islamic Republic carried out 972 executions — accounting for 64% of all recorded executions worldwide!
Once again, the majority of the victims were the marginalized and oppressed people of Baloch People.
From Rostam Zeinoddini, a young father of two, tortured and sentenced to death without access to a lawyer,
to Abdol-Samad Shahbazi, another victim of systemic injustice whose only crime was being trapped in the cycle of poverty,
and Amanullah Barahui, who, before his execution in Karaj, coloured the sole his feet with henna — a Baloch wedding tradition — as his final act of resistance and dignity.
These are just the names we know.
How many thousands more lie nameless and silent, buried in prisons and graveyards?
We ask ourselves:
Why has the Iranian government, instead of serving its people, chosen: Death over education?
Annihilation over rescue?
Gallows over healing?
Why is survival reserved only for the “insiders” while “outsiders” — like the Baloch — are targeted for destruction?
We know:
These executions are not solutions.
This repression is the symptom of a regime gripped by fear, trembling under the weight of its own impending collapse.
With the Campaign Against Execution- London, We are here to declare:
• We will no longer be deceived by false religious tears!
• We will no longer trust those who stay silent in the face of the slaughter of Baloch sons and daughters!
• We will raise our own leaders, from the very heart of our pain and blood, from among our own people.
Today, we cry out for every Rostam, every Abdol-Samad, every Amanullah.
For every child left fatherless, for every mother whose heart has been shattered by the gallows.
And alongside the courageous women in Iran’s prisons, who have risen up with hunger strikes every Tuesday, we shout:
No to executions!
No to oppression!
No to the genocide of the Baloch people!
No to the Islamic Republic!
We know:
The ropes of the gallows will break before the cries for freedom.
We know:
Through awakening, solidarity, and love for life, we will tear through this dark night.
Today, here, we make a vow:
• Until the last gallows is dismantled,
• Until the last prison is broken open,
• Until Baloch, Kurds, Turks, Arabs, Persians — all the peoples of this land — can live with dignity and freedom,
We will not be silent!
Long live life,
Long live freedom,
Down with the regime of executions and crimes!
