Once the PDKI leadership issued a statement, calling on its members to mobilize, thousands of our members inside Iranian Kurdistan, Iraqi Kurdistan and Europe are ready to join the Peshmerga Forces to protect Iraqi Kurdistan on the frontline in the war against IS.

Statement: PDKI is fulfilling its national duty by defending Iraqi Kurdistan
Iraqi Kurdistan has come under attack by the Islamic State (IS). These terrorists ruthlessly target civilians, forcing hundreds of thousands of Kurds, Christians and Yezidis of the region to flee for their lives.

At a time when many of these innocent civilians have died due to lack of water and food, the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI) fulfilled its national duty by sending its Peshmerga Forces to the frontline to fight together with the Peshmerga Forces of Iraqi Kurdistan in the war against the IS terrorists.

Once the PDKI leadership issued a statement, calling on its members to mobilize, thousands of our members inside Iranian Kurdistan, Iraqi Kurdistan and Europe are ready to join the Peshmerga Forces to protect Iraqi Kurdistan on the frontline in the war against IS.

We hope that we will, with the help and support of Kurds from all parts of Kurdistan, our friends in the region and in the international community, be able to end the threat that these terrorists are posing to Kurdistan and civilians in the region.

We hope that Kurdistan will not be alone in this war.
